  1. Hi there. I just finished Emergence, and must say I am exhausted, edified and terrified. What an incredible book, and one that will haunt me especially right now with COVID-19. I deeply appreciate what you have written, as well as your tweets about the current situation in China and beyond. I am not sure how to plan my travels going forward, but you have given me so much to think about. You were born to write, and you have done your homework brilliantly. Thank you. Your book is a public service as well as fabulously absorbing and entertaining.

    • So glad you enjoyed the book! And thanks for your kind words, they mean a LOT. It’s crazy how the timing worked out given how long I spent on that project and the fact that it was completed right as the COVID-19 situation was beginning to spin up in the news. This virus is certainly something to be on your guard about and I hope you stay safe in your travels.

Stay tuned for the next two books to complete the trilogy. I’m currently working on the 2nd volume, Quarantine, and hope to have it ready for publication in 3-6 months.
